Join our Master Data Governance Group (MDG) as an Analyst and be a crucial part of maintaining SAP Master Data at Paramount. The MDG Team collaborates with global teams to educate on master data-related issues, improve data quality, and support complex business processes. As an Analyst, your role will contribute to the integrity and reliability of our enterprise master data, playing a vital part in achieving our strategic goals.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide support in developing and maintaining global master data governance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ERP system rollouts and improvements.
  • Assist in implementing data management processes for specific master data categories.
  • Administer Blackline software in the Financial Close process upon S4 go-live.
  • Maintain SAP Central Finance data and reconcile errors between legacy SAP systems and CFIN.
  • Handle certain duplicative activities for Vendor and Customer master data.
  • Ensure data consistency between different systems and maintain data mapping.
  • Analyze data quality issues and take corrective actions for improved data integrity.
  • Create and update master data objects in SAP.
  • Perform periodic clean-up activities for inactive master data objects.
  • Respond to inquiries and complete requests through the incident management system.
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures for relevant areas.
  • Support internal and external auditors in testing internal controls related to master data governance.
  • Attend meetings as a representative of master data governance when required.
  • Provide training to junior team members.

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business/IT preferred.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles, concepts, and best practices is important. Prior work experience in a complex global environment is a plus, but fresh graduates with relevant internship experience and strong interest in the field are also welcome.
  • Experience with BlackLine as an End User or in related admin responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is valued. Experience with ERP rollout and/or migrations, including Master Data Governance, Testing, Training, and Change Management is desired.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work with formulas, PIVOT tables, etc.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
