CBS This Morning is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Broadcast Associate with a strong passion for broadcast journalism based in Washington, DC.
Duties include working with producers and associate producers to gather elements for news packages and helping to coordinate correspondent live shots. The ideal candidate is a team player with exceptional organizational skills, is detail-oriented, and has the ability to both multi-task and keep a calm head under pressure. This position may also include overnight and/or weekend responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1 year experience in broadcast, cable or digital news
• Excellent written and oral communication skills a must
• Available to work various schedules
• Strong editorial judgement and calm under pressure
• Interest in political and Washington based news; strong news judgement
