Search Engine Marketing Analyst - Remote

About the team:

This position has the opportunity of being full-time REMOTE. The Search & New Markets team connects customers with advertisers through our revenue and search partnerships on a global scale. 

About the role:

As an Analyst, you will support our SEM, Social, Native and Display buying teams to help scale performance marketing campaigns that focus on acquisition metrics such as conversion rates, RPM, and ROAS. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, is comfortable working with large data sets in Excel, and can demonstrate an understanding of online direct response marketing and optimization techniques.

Your day-to-day:


  • Update daily and weekly revenue reporting and campaign performance dashboards
  • Create new ad accounts and pixels across various traffic sources such as Facebook, GDN, Bing, Google, Taboola, Outbrain, Gemini Native
  • Help with digital media campaign builds including building campaign names, creatives, or audiences
  • Collaborate with our engineering team on landing page creation and styling updates
  • Monitor activities and landing pages of competitors and industry trends
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors and media buyers by communicating with them frequently to answer questions and resolve ad/landing page issues
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payment
  • Manage the day-to-day of online direct response and acquisition campaigns so that they meet the target KPIs
  • Execute special projects as needed

Required Qualifications:


  • This position has the opportunity to be full-time REMOTE. 
  • At least 1-2 years of online media/marketing experience, preferably with experience in paid digital advertising such as search (i.e. Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.), paid social (Facebook, Twitter, Snap, etc.), or Google Display Network
  • Strong understanding of marketing key performance indicators (KPIs) and how it pertains to the success of marketing activities.
  • Excels in a dynamic, data-driven, metrics-oriented environment
  • Quick to learn new topics and demonstrates ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Exceptional communicator (written and oral) with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Agency account or client experience a plus
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Google Drive, Google Documents.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred
