Responsibilities

  • Updating and maintaining the 10‐year Ultimates data for Paramount titles post-greenlight and preparation of film budgets
  • Handle forecasting submission process, estimates and incorporation into Ultimates database
  • Prepare quarterly and yearly participation statements for co-financing partners
  • Maintain financial models and forecasting performance for titles within their 10-year window. Coordinate using the Ultimate database
  • Maintain financial models to forecast revenues and costs on a by-film basis
  • Prepare summaries of actual and forecast results for review by senior management utilizing Hyperion and Essbase
  • Assist in the preparation of the long range plan, annual operating plan, quarterly outlook and monthly financial reviews for compensation and headcounts in collaboration with Business Partners and Finance colleagues
  • Ensuring the impact of production schedules, license fee commitments, production breakage items, co-production deals on (Ultimates) and cash flow are forecasted accurately and fall in line with financial goals.
  • Liaise with Business Unit Finance, Accounting and C-Level Executives in support of the Corporate Planning process
  • Analyze anticipated film performance comparing actuals against forecast
  • Finds opportunities for operational improvement across essential responsibilities
  • Coordinate strategic alignment of resources by working with project teams, functional line managers, and business operations to allocate and assign resources to project-based work in alignment with portfolio priorities.
  • Ensure enterprise and project portfolio systems accurately reflect resource capacity and project demand across the entire portfolio. Complete what-if analysis and ad hoc analysis as needed!

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred
  • Minimum 2-5 years professional experience in Finance and/or Accounting

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong financial modeling, Microsoft Excel capabilities and understanding of financial documents
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills!
  • Ability to work with various professionals at all levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Great teammate with a proven ability to operate in a cross-functional team environment
  • Entertainment or media industry experience preferred
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
