Paramount+, a direct-to-consumer digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service from ViacomCBS, combines live sports, breaking news, and a mountain of entertainment. Paramount+ also enables subscribers to stream local CBS stations live across the U.S. in addition to the ability to stream ViacomCBS Streaming’s other live channels: CBSN for 24/7 news, CBS Sports HQ for sports news and analysis, and ET Live for entertainment coverage.


The ViacomCBS Streaming’s Strategy and Business Development team is looking to hire an Analyst of Strategy! We want you to help build and lead strategy for the ViacomCBS Streaming organization, including Paramount+ and Pluto TV. This role works directly with multiple groups across ViacomCBS, including Content, Distribution and Business Development, Product and Technology, Marketing, Sales, International and corporate leadership to define and complete the streaming strategy for ViacomCBS. This role will report to the Director, Strategy and will be based out of the New York office. This is a meaningful role with a broad range of responsibilities, including:


  • Partner with the streaming leadership and corporate teams to develop, refine, and drive the global strategic vision for the ViacomCBS Strategy Team, including a coordinated strategy across free and pay streaming business lines.
  • Partner with the ViacomCBS corporate strategy group on cross-company collaboration, including content windowing policies.  
  • Help identify, analyze, and present new business opportunities
  • Assess and provide updates on industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Manage and create business communications and presentations for senior management that fuse financial, performance, strategic and competitive information cohesively 
  • Support distribution and business development team with partnership strategy and deal analysis.
  • Contribute industry knowledge, thought leadership and a growth perspective to the organization.
  • Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities through market research, benchmarking, and business modeling.


Basic Qualifications


  • 3+ years shown in Strategy, Business Development, Consulting, Investment Banking experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft suite
  • Deep quantitative and analytical skills, with a shown ability to apply data to drive decision making


Additional Qualifications



  • Strong curiosity in entertainment and media, streaming content
  • Experience in digital subscription services and/or digital retail, e-commerce
  • Shown experience in Business Development, Marketing and Finance
  • trong leadership skills with ability to form lasting working relationships and encourage trust and confidence in others 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across a large and complex organization with demonstrated success collaborating to tackle problems
  • Ability to multi-task, work autonomously and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to operate independently and lead multiple teams and time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Intimate knowledge of the media and technology ecosystem
  • Strong communication skills and ability to cultivate relationships cross-functionally
