Scope of Job: Are you a dynamic Agile program manager looking to join a rapidly growing PMO? We are seeking an individual with strong technical skills, experience in Agile methodologies, and a track record of motivating teams to deeper levels of agility and self-organization. We are looking for a highly skilled Agile program management professional, excellent teammate, lifelong learner, and extraordinary communicator. Your primary responsibility will be serving as an Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE), building out Pluto TV's media and metadata ingestion, and management tools and workflows.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as chief Scrum Master, facilitate quarterly big-room planning, balance dependencies with the Program Management Office, and oversee release schedules
  • Lead a small team of Technical Program Managers and provide leadership on Agile ceremonies and standard methodologies
  • Take ownership of the ART by example with actions as well as words
  • Work with Product Management and Business partners to accurately establish a concrete foundation in running the program backlogs, prioritization, and refinements
  • Drive cross-team communication and maintain positive cross-team relationships
  • Define, analyze, collect, and communicate key execution metrics and reporting
  • Lead risks and dependencies between scrum teams and partnerships between teams and partners
  • Actively identify and remove impediments that may impact team velocity or work, and ensure successful execution of team and train objectives
  • Work as a servant-leader within the Agile release train, using leadership skills to champion productive working relationships
  • Drive continuous improvement through the facilitation of regular ART syncs, Demos and Inspect & Adapt Workshops
  • Represent your Agile Release Train in higher-level reviews and sync events

 

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience (4+ years) as an Agile project manager/scrum master and knowledge of Agile principles (Scrum and/or Kanban)
  • Specific experience in implementing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and acting as an organizational change agent
  • Keen understanding of Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience in coaching and Agile training to promote common understanding, and improve alignment, efficiency, and partnership across the Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
  • Proficient in working as part of a larger PMO to deliver complex solutions, applying an Agile process to call out issues, removing impediments, and handling risks
  • Experience resolving conflicts and coaching teams to become better-aligned and higher functioning, with an eye on demonstrating those team skills to increase the speed and quality of software delivery
  • Experience leading teams, negotiating compromises, and interfacing between various business units
  • Familiarity with the streaming applications, entertainment technology, and/or video and metadata ingestion workflows is recommended
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Google Workspace is required
  • Certified Release Train Engineer and Advanced Agile Certification (PMI-ACP, Professional-Level Scrum Alliance Certification, or SPC) are a plus but not required
