The Children’s Design team at Simon and Schuster is a creative, and successful department.

We are currently recruiting a highly motivated and passionate designer who wants to create books, and build brands that will delight and inspire readers.

Job Profile:

An exciting opportunity for a senior designer to become a key member of the design team, working on fiction book design and branding.

The Role:

Reporting to the Creative Director, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of design and illustration within Children’s Publishing. The candidate will be passionate about books and will have expertise in industry-leading book design and illustration commissions, a strong understanding of branding design work, and able to work both independently and as a key player of a dynamic team.

The Candidate Profile:  

Would suit a designer with a real passion and enthusiasm for Children’s books, and a desire to work on an award winning and exciting list.

Proficiency in In-Design and Photoshop essential.
