Is this the role for you?


In this role you will provide Level 3 technical support for the Infrastructure around the VCNI hosting, enterprise Linux and AWS platforms in line with ViacomCBS global strategies and standards.


Working with the global support and development teams to provide a unified Infrastructure with a focus on VCNI goals, objectives and projects.


What will you be doing?


  • Technology responsibility of the Hosting and enterprise platforms (on-prem and cloud), day to day operations and support, constant review of the existing platforms and processes, looking at available technologies and road maps to plan and change for greater performance, integrity and efficiencies.
  • To provide a point of escalation for all issues pertaining to the availability, security and performance of all VCNI’s online machines, in both the production and development/QA environment.
  • Work with global ViacomCBS technology peers and owners to ensure standardisation, leverage the available global resource to plan and develop solutions, ensuring international VCNI needs are reviewed and applied where appropriate.
  • To deliver against the business strategic objectives that utilise/maximise the overall technology infrastructure as directed.
  • Actively promote team knowledge sharing with global transparency, providing technical assistance to all individuals within the teams.
  • To maintain a technical understanding of the security layers and standards those are appropriate for the risks faced by the business.
  • The provision of technical competencies that provide in-depth knowledge for the areas deemed important by the business.
  • To participate in service relationships with third party ISPs, developers and other providers in order to ensure maximum performance and availability for all VCNI web properties.
  • To provide all support lines as required by the business.
  • The delivery of project based activities complying at all times to Project Management standards.
  • To provide input and maintenance of technology strategy that, in turn, forms part of the overall Technology strategy.
  • To actively own career development ensuring that training and development plans are adhered to and completed in a timely manner.


What are we looking for?


  • IT Diploma or above
  • Good written and spoken English and an ability to communicate with IS and Business Employees at all levels.
  • Good time management with an ability to work on a number of projects and tasks concurrently setting own agendas and effectively prioritising work.
  • A strong enthusiasm for technology
  • Operates as a Team Player
  • Demonstrates thoroughness and an eye for detail
  • Ability to generate, document and implement procedures
  • Ability to Adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work under pressure




  • Computer related Degree
  • Formal training in analysis tools and techniques
  • AWS certification
  • Linux Certification
