Overview & Responsibilities


We are looking for an enthusiastic, strategic, proactive, and creative marketer to join the Nickelodeon Content Marketing team. This team is responsible for developing content marketing positioning, strategy and go-to-market plans supporting Nickelodeon’s properties both on our owned channels as well as Paramount+ and third-party platforms (Netflix, Hulu, etc.)

This role would also be responsible for day-to-day marketing needs of Nickelodeon series launches including strategic development, briefing, cross-team alignment, execution, performance analysis. Content to span across Live Action, Unscripted, Animation, and Movies.

  • Assist in leading series campaign marketing from kick off to launch execution
  • Develop creative yet research driven marketing strategies to drive viewership to Nick programming and franchises
  • Lead marketing strategy and coordination across all lines of business to create exciting, cohesive marketing plans
  • Partner with project management to ensure campaigns move forward in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide direction, guidance, and alignment across internal teams including Digital, Media, Social, PR, Talent, Press, Growth Marketing, Programming, and Content Distribution
  • Assist in developing creative strategy and asset management including but not limited to logos, key art, promos, digital, display in partnership with Creative and Design teams
  • Review and provide creative feedback and direction to ensure campaign messaging is clear and aligns with goals and objectives
  • Partner with Paramount+ Originals Marketing to create collaborative marketing and creative strategies to support Nickelodeon programming premiering on streaming
  • Identify and coordinate Nickelodeon support for streaming premieres
  • Build second window launch plans for Nickelodeon linear premieres
  • Route various creative to key Nickelodeon partners and communicate feedback to P+ & third party partners
  • Work alongside off-channel media team to ensure alignment in campaign strategy, targeting, and marketing approach
  • Bring paid media campaigns to life by managing creative strategy, asset development, delivery, timelines & campaign execution
  • Work with Research team to review series and campaign performance in order to provide critical thinking and POVs to optimize and improve wherever possible
  • Develop internal and external marketing materials including briefs, strategy documents, launch decks
  • Actively seek out new and innovative marketing ideas, partnerships, and collaborations
  • Assist in refining internal process and approaches to find efficiencies and ways to collaborate across teams
  • Be a positive team leader and mentor who can help with team development and growth


Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 + years of experience in marketing, strategy, media
  • 2 + years management experience
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong desire to work for a global brand and help drive brand affinity for Nickelodeon

  • Proactive, strategic self-starter who can provide creative and constructive direction
  • Ability to handle several projects at once in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Kids and/or TV category experience preferred
  • Analytical problem solver who can interpret data and extract insights to make informed recommendations
  • Collaborative spirit with a positive outlook and can-do approach
  • Ability to inspire and drive cross functional teams working towards a unified goal
  • Understanding of the entertainment and media industry including the growing streaming landscape
  • Deep knowledge of social and digital marketing
  • Passion for kids and family entertainment
  • Eye for detail and a love of creative marketing and design
  • Constant creative with forward-thinking curiosity to identify trends, and look around corners for the next new thing
  • Working knowledge MS and Google Suite applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slides, Sheets, Docs, Slack
