Overview & Responsibilities:

As Paramount+ continues to grow, so does the need for additional creative marketing talent! In your role as Associate Creative Director, you have the opportunity to cultivate best-in-class 360 marketing content to promote Paramount+ Originals and kids & family programming. We are looking for someone passionate about media, pop culture, live-action, and animated content for all ages with a relentlessly positive and collaborative approach, who can effectively work cross-functionally and support Creative Directors, and strategic marketing brand leads to foster alignment on the creative vision for each campaign.


As part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will work with creative teams including designers, production personnel, and editors to deliver inspired, clear, creative direction that results in content that levels up to strategy and exceeds creative goals. Along with managing in-house and external agency creative, you will assist in managing relationships with cross-company brands and creative leads to ensure cohesive messaging.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide clear, insightful direction for marketing assets crafted by teams within ViacomCBS Streaming, agency partners, and freelance resources

  • Partner cross-functionally to support product quality and standard methodologies for brand continuity across marketing campaigns

  • Push creative ideas from concept to completion in partnership with VP/CD, SVP, and Head of Creative

  • Work closely with the finishing process across print, AV, digital, and social media assets, working with internal and external partners

  • Bring a perspective to photoshoots and video captures, providing creative direction as well as managing talent

  • Facilitate efficient and effective communication between groups to guide marketing campaigns from ideation through timely delivery

  • Work with senior leadership to constantly track, evolve & refine workflow


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Proven creative excellence developing trailers, promos, and supporting assets

  • 5+years experience as a senior-level creative lead at a media organization and or creative agency

  • knowledge of emerging visual design trends, including Print, OOH, Interactive, Email, Mobile and Social

  • Advanced knowledge of video production, editing, and post-production process

  • Experience giving creative direction to editors, producers, and designers 

  • Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Groups, Chat) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with AVOD / streaming subscription services a plus!

  • Enthusiasm for kids and family programming - both animation and live-action

  • Proven track record of breakthrough creative development and a passion for storytelling

  • Proven ability and experience collaborating with teams and delivering constructive, inspired, creative feedback

  • Strong project management skills able to prioritize tight deadlines

  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to foster healthy relationships cross-functionally

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities and partners with strong attention to detail

  • Experience using team collaboration platforms like Asana or JIRA
