We're on the lookout for a phenomenal and creative writer/producer to craft compelling promos, social media content, and marketing collateral that not only tell a story but make audiences eager to experience it firsthand!

Responsibilities:

  • Crafting the Narrative: Take charge of strategically conceptualizing, writing, and editing on-air and digital promotions, ensuring they resonate with our diverse audience.
  • Strategic Brilliance: Devise and implement ingenious marketing and branding strategies for news topicals, franchises, image campaigns, and station projects. Your goal? To communicate clear messages in new and innovative ways.
  • Social Media Specialist: Give your creative flair to multiple social media platforms, engaging our audience with content that stands out in the digital crowd.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in television news promotion, news marketing, or a related creative field.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere CC and Adobe Creative Suite is a requirement. Knowledge of graphics and visual effects is a definite plus.
  • Submit a reel for review is required.
  • Digital Dynamo: Showcase your proficiency in social media, digital, and brand management, proving you're always ahead of the curve.
  • Visual Storytelling: Understand the art of visual and creative storytelling, staying on top of the latest trends in new media. Seamlessly navigate between traditional and new media landscapes.
  • Wordsmith: Weave your magic as a strong writer, armed with a wealth of experience in crafting compelling content for digital and social platforms.
  • Digital Maestro: Demonstrate applied knowledge and a commanding presence on social media and digital platforms.
