The Editorial Assistant (EA) position supports the entire Editorial department for Adams Media, providing administrative and editorial support as needed and reporting into the Director of Managing Editorial.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with product set up/updates in the Title Management System and communicating all title/subtitle/author changes to the Production and Design department.
  • Distributeing department communications as requested, and compiling/distributing NPD Bookscan weekly category bestseller reports.
  • Assisting in the coding of manuscripts as well as assisting the Development and Acquisition teams with project-related tasks.


This primarily administrative role provides the unique opportunity to observe and participate in all stages of the Editorial cycle and is an ideal entry-level position for an individual interested in Publishing.


Please note this this role will be based in our Adams Media office in Stoughton MA. This is not a remote opportunity.
