We have a great opportunity to join the viewer insights team as a director and be at the heart of decision making at Paramount. Partner with different departments across the Paramount business working collaboratively with the commissioning team, Press and Marketing departments, scheduling, strategy and finance teams.


What will you be doing?

  • You will be a key driver in providing a full audience insight service for all adult brands across linear, BVOD, AVOD and SVOD
  • Providing internal and external stakeholders with strategic, creative, useful insights to help inform timely decision making
  • Lead the preparation and presenting of weekly/monthly/quarterly analysis of the entire portfolio to all key departments
  • Run a programme of research to support the Marketing department, to include amongst others brand and promo tracking and pre and post campaign tracking
  • To champion, lead and support the businesses wider understanding of the nonlinear broadcast market using BARB’s Focal Meter data and other sources
  • Manage and develop the wider Viewer Insight team to support them to deliver against key business objectives
  • Manage relationships with external clients, including agency suppliers
  • Support the UK VIS team with research and insight around UK Paramount productions
  • Collaborate with the streaming analytics team to ensure joined up reporting metrics
  • Work closely with the wider Research team, supporting and supplementing kids research, airtime and forecasting with audience insights
  • Provide strategic insights to the wider Paramount business
  • Represent Paramount UK and Channel 5 as an underwriter at BARB
  • Work alongside the Global Development team on International research as required
  • Engaging and participating in International calls/meetings around Global research
  • Working in a fast-paced environment while responding to a rapidly changing broadcast landscape

What are we looking for?

  • Highly experienced researcher from a media background with FTA and Pay TV background
  • Broadcaster experience in commissioning and managing both qualitative and quantitative research projects
  • Exceptional degree of knowledge of BARB’s linear and Focal meter data
  • Good knowledge/experience of scripting surveys using Decipher or similar software
  • Extensive experience of data systems including Techedge, TV Beat and Adobe
  • Detailed knowledge of intelligence services such as Ampere, YouGov
  • Ability to produce high quality written materials and deliver strong written and verbal presentations
  • Be innovative, dynamic, flexible and collaborative with interpersonal and influencing skills and a high degree of integrity
  • Experience of managing team members
  • Experience of operating in a fast paced and dynamic environment
