Job Profile:

We have an exciting vacancy for a sales professional to join our fast-pasted and dynamic team. You will work across a number of the UK’s highest profile key accounts but with a focus on Amazon to identify opportunities and deliver growth across the S&S UK adult & Children’s lists.


The Role: 

Reporting to the Audio Publisher & Sales Director, Online and Digital the role will include acting as the first point of contact for Amazon. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with a wide variety of contacts within each key account. Identifying and presenting key titles to your accounts on a quarterly basis. Maintaining an in-depth understanding of Amazon and other key accounts – including their marketplace USP and how best to utilise this. Monitoring the key account’s sales and market share and communicate regular updates to the wider sales team as well as editorial, marketing and publicity.


The Candidate Profile: 

We are looking for a driven individual who can demonstrate thorough understanding of Online key accounts and the publishing market. You will be an analytic thinker, have an eye for detail and have proven understanding of margins, profits and sales data. Your customer relationships should be second to none and you should have strong interpersonal and presentation skills.  You should always be willing to take on new challenges, be flexible and determined to succeed. You will have a prowess for multi-tasking and innovative thinking and be able to work on your own and as part of a team.


We are looking for someone who will be comfortable when interacting with customers and internal editorial teams and, most importantly, someone who is passionate about books.
