What will you be doing?

This role will take the lead in building and engaging communities for Paramount+ across our social profiles. You’ll have a strong understanding of the type of content our audience want to see and be across the topics and trends on social as they happen. You will be the voice of the brand on social, engaging directly with audiences, both existing and new. You’ll stimulate and sustain audience conversations and relationships with Paramount+ through on-the-pulse community management across social platforms. You’ll inherently know what it takes to have a strong social voice and how to take our tone and make it conversational.

You should have a keen eye for detail and proven success in growing social footprints for digital brands and creating a two-way dialogue with audiences. We’re looking for someone with a passion for creating, dissecting and consuming all kinds of content. You will be the voice of the audience internally and the voice of the brand externally.

  • Manage active audience engagement on social platforms, getting involved in relevant conversations throughout the day with a view to increasing engagement, encouraging interaction and creating communities around Paramount+ and our shows.
  • Support the creation and execution of digital promotional plans and events across platforms
  • Take ownership of audience insight, sentiment and reaction across all social channels to collate and feedback to teams internally
  • Reinforcement of key messaging and query answering.
  • Stay on top of social trends to share with the wider team.
  • Actively contribute to campaign planning in a strategic and audience activation capacity
  • Work hand in glove with local and international social media teams to ensure Paramount+ content and campaigns are fully deployed across ViacomCBS social profiles
  • Partner with Marketing, Performance, PR and Content to ensure social activity is connected and intertwined with their activity
  • Creation and distribution of social assets

What skills do you need

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you should speak the language of the internet
  • An eye for creative content both written and visual and know the nuances of social media formats
  • The ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye on the finer details
  • Highly developed organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to build great working relationships and take direction.
  • An obsession with entertainment and pop culture.
  • Solid community management experience.
  • Competence with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience in TV a bonus.
