Is this the role for you?

We are V Creative, Viacom’s in-house team of creative thinkers and makers producing super-engaging work across iconic brands including Paramount, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and Channel 5.

This role is ideal for a creative obsessive with a deep passion and understanding of the media world, someone looking to product world class creative for one of the most exciting product launches of this year, Paramount+.

From promos, events and marketing campaigns to reels, social and rebrands, we work cross brand and cross platforms creating award winning content. We are passionate about creative and thrive off collaboration

 

What will you be doing?

As Senior Creative, you will be tasked with ensuring all of the creative output for P+ is to a world class standard. This exciting and unique opportunity will work on a broad range of material, from 30” trailers to short-form content, from broadcast asset and branding through to printed communication including digital and social platforms, as-well as larger campaign work. Strong teams and excellent teamwork make V Creative what it is today, you will report directly into and work closely with P+ Creative Director to ensure P+ creative strategy and tone of voice cuts through across all mediums in a crowded UK marketplace. One of the main tasks will be making sure all creative assets align with the global P+ brand, but with UK tone of voice and sensibility. A crucial role within the department, you will contribute a strong creative style and tone of voice that improve the brand across all touchpoints. You will line manage a Junior Creative and collaborate closely with the rest of department.

 

  • You should have solid experience in a creative lead role, working with senior staff in a complex multi-stakeholder environment
  • Highly visual, with excellent presentation and communication skills
  • The Senior Creative will lead by example, so you need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Responsible for motivating and supporting the Junior Creative, ensuring all creative output is on brand and on time and to the highest creative quality
  • Script, direct and edit a breadth of P+ creative content ranging from on air promotions, off air campaigns, branding, packaging and sponsorship
  • Work to agreed budgets and timeframes ensuring creative excellence at all times

 

What are we looking for?

  • You will have a solid creative understanding coupled with a specialist understanding of working in the media industry. You will think strategically, be an inspiring leader, and a creative person in every sense.
  • Proven at a senior level within a creative team
  • Excellent editing skills – preferably in Adobe Premiere
  • Experienced on multiplatform campaigns with creative executions across all media touchpoints
  • Experience of line management and a passionate and hardworking demeanour
  • Experience and knowledge of working to OFCOM and legal guidelines
  • An enthusiasm for new creative technology and the desire to learn new skills
  • Superb at supervising online/offline edits, managing and delivering feedback
  • To have a deep understanding and vast experience of working with 3D/2D animation and graphic designers.
  • Excellent script and copywriting skills
  • Excellent problem solving and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible
  • Confident working within budgets and tight timeframes whilst still delivering creative excellence
