Overview and Responsibilities:

We are searching for an innovative self-starting HR Manager that can thrive in a fast-paced tech startup environment. The role will report to the Director of Human Resources and provide support to the Head of People as a strategic business partner to the Organization as a whole.

The ideal candidate is seeking an opportunity to broaden their skills in several areas of HR, including but not limited to people operations, immigration, and employee engagement.

This is a critical role with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Be active in the Talent Acquisition Process (interviewing, providing feedback, etc.)
  • Be a key leader on the People team regarding training, payroll, safety, and all other initiatives related to the Human Resource function.
  • Collaborate with the People team & Leadership to develop and implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
  • Partner with the Senior Director, People and the HR Director on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment.
  • Review and analyze business data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
  • Provide leadership in developing and implementing best-in-class employment practices.
  • Partner with managers to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across ViacomCBS re. Initiatives, policies & procedures, and integrations when needed.
  • Provide ongoing support to the leadership team on human resources related matters, policies and procedures.
  • Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.
  • Deploy a hands-on approach in effectively assessing the needs of the employees and driving efficient follow-up and reaction to those needs.
  • Understand our business and how what you do helps it accelerate at warped speed.
  • Ability to have influence at all levels in the organization
  • Propose and lead HR initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

We believe the right individual will have the following skills and experience in order to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI) would be preferred
  • 5+ years strong HR Generalist experience, preferably from a fast-paced Startup Environment
