We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager, Audience & Identity, who will Drive the Ad Supply product efforts within the Revenue Product group to ensure the highest, sustained monetization of any platform in the free, ad-supported TV space. This role has a primary focus on enhancing ad inventory monetization based on Audience & Identity signals across our global footprint.


In particular, this person will identify and implement ad monetization opportunities that exist with our advertising, content, and distribution partners. This role will work with all stakeholders to understand market needs in order to create products that directly and measurably drive revenue while building long term value. Identifying and mitigating risks, including opportunity costs, while balancing strategic and tactical approaches will be integral to success. Maintaining a thorough understanding of the rapidly evolving technical, industry, and regulatory landscape is necessary to inform feature and initiative prioritization and development.

Responsibilities Include

This is a significant role with a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Cross-Functional Team Relationship: Develop and maintain healthy and productive, working relationships across the core Revenue Product/Program/Engineering teams, the non-Revenue teams (including: Native Apps, WebTech, Core Services, Data Engineering), as well as Paramount Platforms, Ad Operations, P&I/Sales Leadership, Monetization, Content and Distribution Leadership
  • Product Planning: Become familiar with and contribute to the product OKRs, goals, strategies, and roadmap plans for the Audience and Identity initiative and ensure their prioritization on the all-up Revenue Product Roadmap. This includes defining and handling success metrics. Depending on where we are in the quarterly planning cycle, define and advocate for at least one A&I feature to be prioritized within the Scaled Agile Framework we employ.
  • Audience Data and Identity Expert (SME): Be the subject matter expert on Audience Data and Identity including available technologies, an in depth knowledge of the competition and drive forth the unique value proposition to Pluto’s business. Maintain a current and sophisticated understanding of the evolving privacy and data collection laws as well as new technical challenges and opportunities and plan for future disruptions. Develop and gain approval for specific revenue metrics related to our Audience & Identity program.

Qualities / Experience We’re Seeking

We believe the right individual will have the following skills and experience be successful in this role:

  • 3+ years of commercial product management experience, particularly with demonstrated leadership in the management of a product (or portfolio of products) from beginning to end of the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to write requirements and work with technical teams, including: Data Engineering, Architecture, Client and Ad Stack Engineering to enable data integrations across multiple systems, APIs, SFTP, S3, Snowflake and successfully release new ad capabilities.
  • Ability to evaluate potential vendors and manage existing external relationships to identify the value of those offerings and identifying technical, operational, and privacy related risks
  • A solid working knowledge of US and International privacy and data regulations to ensure all enhancements and features developed are compliant and aligned with our privacy first company position.
  • Clearly communicate the use cases for collecting and/or using data, it’s value to our viewers and business (including revenue modeling) to Legal, Privacy, cross platform teams, and senior leadership.
  • Experience and maturity managing business or technology partnerships, including participation in strategy discussions, negotiations and reviewing contracts.
  • Experience with digital advertising, preferably in CTV or streaming video.
  • Experience with indirect programmatic eco-systems (SSP, DSP, Ad Exchanges)
  • Experience building cross-platform experiences (Web technologies, native mobile and CTV applications)
  • Adept at tailoring communications depending on the circumstances, whether the audience is technical, non-technical, or executive.
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for identifying key problems that are faced by the business, by the market and by current technologies.
  • Track record of results when working collaboratively and being dependent on others.
  • Comfort with analyzing data to identify trends, diagnose problems, and finding solutions.
