Overview and Responsibilities:


We are looking for a Senior/Manager to join our team! Reporting to the Vice President, Sales Planning & Reporting, the Senior Manager Sales Planning and Reporting will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and benchmarking sales of Paramount’s products in the international markets. In particular, this role will have a heavy emphasis on Paramount’s physical distribution business.

The ideal candidate will work effectively across multiple business functions, and at all levels of the organization. They will have an interest in working in a fast-paced, collaborative corporate environment, be highly self-directed, mission driven, and able to work at both strategic and tactical levels. The successful candidate:

  • Owns the analysis of our product from a volume, value, profit and share perspective over varying periods of time, providing benchmarking against competitors, and making clear and concise recommendations for improvement
  • Builds and develops analysis, reporting and insight of the Entertainment Category to help drive Paramount’s business forward, making recommendations that can be implemented by the sales and marketing functions to help drive profitable growth
  • Partners with the sales team to action market level insights at the customer level
  • Contributes to territory market overview presentations at key planning intervals
  • Generates weekly title plans and communicates cross platform performance on a weekly basis
  • Communicates cross platform financial performance of key films to senior management, including comparative benchmarks to both Financial Plan and Marketing Plan
  • Creates reporting that informs decision making
  • Validates title and customer mappings to ensure accurate reporting
  • Performs ongoing analytical projects of varying nature as required by management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus
  • Significant experience of sales planning, demand forecasting, field sales or retail marketing experience, in the Entertainment or Consumer Packaged Goods Industry
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Power Point are a must

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Entertainment or Consumer Packaged Goods industries
  • Ability to process and summarize large amounts of data into concise and substantial reports
  • Exceptional analytic and quantitative capabilities
  • Working Knowledge of tools such as SQL, Python or R
  • Outstanding communications skills with all levels of the organization
  • Technically savvy with ability to navigate complex enterprise systems
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills
