Enough about us! What you’ll do as a Production Coordinator:  

As the Production Coordinator, you will be working in the Children’s TV department and will be responsible for booking appropriate talent, locations, and additional required services for the given program. 
Functions will also include:

•    Sourcing talent and locations for allocated shoots 
•    Keeping up to date with media release by subscribing with relevant PR companies and other organisations
•    Conducting team meetings to gather what is required for upcoming shoots
•    Demonstrating strong understanding of 10’s workplace health and safety standards and ensuring the workplace health and safety officer and legal team are kept up to date with all shoots.
•    Ensuring proper investigation into shoots to avoid any filming issues
•    Confirming logistics before commencing a shoot. For example, permits etc.
•    Booking travel and accommodation for crew when necessary
•    Communicating the details of the shoot to the writer/producer and if necessary, assisting Production Manager with ingests and APRA.
•    Ensuring episode clips are made available in a timely manner
•    Arranging for relevant paperwork to be sent through to or from the operator

What are we looking for in a Production Coordinator? What’s important?  
•    1-2 years’ experience in a coordinator role
•    Strong organisational and administration skills 
•    Knowledgeable with the Office Suite, especially Excel 
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
•    Problem solver and maintains an improvement mindset, questioning old habits, streamlining and seeking better solutions


Extra points for the following, but not necessarily required:  
•    Experience working in production/children’s TV
