Overview & Responsibilities

Showtime Networks seeks an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Law department! You will provide coverage to the General Counsel, all Showtime Networks Attorneys and Paralegals.

•    Support the day-to-day workflow of the attorneys
•    Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, reserve conference rooms and book travel arrangements
•    Maintain (iManage) filing system and organize documents
•    Assist with management of legal billing systems, reconcile expenses, and prepare expense report submissions
•    Prepare drafts of legal correspondence and agreements using department templates
•    Revise and redline legal documents as directed by attorneys
•    Process the execution and distribution of agreements
•    Process shipping labels and mailing packages


Basic Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
•    3-5 years of work experience as a legal assistant, ideally in a law firm or the in-house legal department of a media company


Additional Qualifications

•    Proficiency at multi-tasking and handling a steady stream of assignments from multiple supervisors, prioritizing workload efficiently and accurately
•    Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
•    Ability to effectively collaborate with department staff, as well as internal and external partners
•    Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Zoom, Slack and iManage with the ability to learn other software applications
•    Experience reading and analyzing legal documents is a plus
