Overview: 

 

The Facilities & Program team are looking for a coordinator! This person will prepare the daily operations schedule for the CBS & CW networks which contains all program episode numbers, commercials and promotion material for both networks for the broadcast day! The coordinator will also prepare the Facilities Transaction Report which drives the interconnection and assignment of Broadcast Center facilities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Format for air in Operative IBMS scheduling system all network programs, commercials and promotion material airing on the CBS and CW television networks.
  • Schedule all program and commercial playback channels.
  • Prepare the daily Facility Transaction Report which schedules and routes all broadcast center facilities.
  • Adjust daily on-air schedules to accurate times as necessary.
  • Has immediate responsibility for the accuracy of our network origination channels.
  • Coordinate in Air Control on day of air programming, commercial and promotion changes to schedules and disseminates updated information to operating areas.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience (strong internship experience considered).
  • Some exposure to the dynamics of television operations is preferred.

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

  • Good analytical skills required. Must be able to react to various broadcast situations effectively.
  • Familiarity with computer data entry. Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to differentiate between routine and more delicate tasks that require consultation with a supervisor but are not always easily defined.
  • Must be available flexible hours (Nights, weekends, and some holidays).
