The Softlines Licensing team focuses on managing the licensee relationships for the Paramount Theatrical and Adult Franchises. (i.e. MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Theatrical portfolio and Paramount Network)! The team leads all aspects of the lifecycle of product licensing, including deal negotiations and identifying ways to bring products life at retail. The Coordinator will support the successful development, and launch of a broad range of Softlines categories (Apparel, Accessories & Home Furnishings)! This role will have a hand in many aspects of account management including product development, business reviews, competitive analysis, and presentation development while working with our consumer products franchise, retail and creative teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support, information, and related materials for licensees to improve development of new products and continued retail expansion of existing products
  • Request, organize and manage retail placement reports, UPC collection and visual line lists. Maintain an accurate comprehensive list of all products in stores
  • Manage agendas and schedule regular business calls with both internal and external teams
  • Provide daily communication and manage follow-up for business updates, selling recaps, curating key takeaways and next steps
  • Assist Sr. Manager with Retail Marketing initiatives: recommend items, gather samples, populate lists for approval
  • Partnering with the licensees and the Global Creative Group to manage all product approvals, creative asset release and business needs
  • Ensure licensees are provided with the most up to date franchise, marketing and creative resources
  • Update and maintain vendor contacts, contract charts and product development timelines
  • Update sales information and build shareable documents
  • Work closely with the warehouse team and vendors to organize sample closet and inventory and manage any sample requests
  • Submit all marketing assets provided by partners for approval and work with Social team to facilitate any support on Paramount owned platforms.
  • Assist Sr. Manager with presentations for business updates, pitch meetings, and internal needs (e.g. property/category one sheets and decks)
  • Present key updates during team and internal staff meetings
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external partners including licensees and other lines of business within Consumer Products

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1+ years of relatable experience (strong internship experience considered)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 62,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
