Overview & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President, Technology Resilience and Business Continuity, the Director, Technology Governance, Risk & Compliance is responsible for promoting a strong culture of resilience through governance, risk management and compliance. Specifically, this person will be responsible for managing a global technology risk management program, conducting internal compliance investigations, monitoring of findings remediation actions and closure, creating a maturity measurement system to quantify our technology strategic risk management approach and partner with other company technology and compliance functions as part of a broader competency supporting strategic risk management, compliance and internal audit readiness. The main areas of compliance coverage include technology / IT compliance such as information security (NIST / ISO), Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, data privacy and IT SOX.


  • Fosters a culture of readiness and resilience by developing strong partnerships globally with technology, digital, finance, risk management, compliance and internal audit leaders.
  • Develop a comprehensive IT risk, readiness and compliance program which strategically aligns with organizational priorities.
  • Partner with information security and technology leaders on the development of technology policies related to risk management and compliance
  •  Establish risk and compliance operational strategies by evaluating trends in IT compliance, information security, data privacy and third party risk;
  • Protects assets and business functions by establishing compliance standards; anticipating emerging risk management and compliance trends; designing improvements to internal control structure
  • Establish critical measurements determining technology risk, readiness and compliance
  • Lead a team of compliance specialists supporting a comprehensive quarterly testing program.
  • Support and provide expertise with technology strategic risk management efforts

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT / Technology risk management and IT compliance.
  • Experience building partnerships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to foster a culture of resilience, risk management and compliance
  • Experience developing and implementing a comprehensive standards-based IT risk management and compliance programs
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through required with a keen ability to spot compliance issues and work with relevant constituents to identify and implement creative solutions


Additional Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is highly desirable or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to successfully lead a variety of projects of multifaceted complexity working with staff at all levels of the organization
    Show ability to think critically and independently and act with integrity
    Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • CISA,DRII, BCI, or ISACA related certifications are a plus
