Noggin is a leading learning service for families with preschoolers. We deliver streaming and interactive learning content that helps young kids develop skills, knowledge and passions, through play with the characters they love. We also help parents help their kids thrive. Noggin is a direct-to-consumer offering available on standalone mobile apps, connected TV apps, and add-on channels. Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide interactive design feedback throughout game development; from concepting to wireframes to final designs and game builds.
  • Engage in creative brainstorming sessions to identify new game experiences
  • Attend and observe kid testing in order to develop recommendations to enhance performance and usability of games.
  • Establish and maintain an interactive style guide which defines the features, game mechanics, and UI standard processes for Noggin’s preschool audience.
  • Review designs based on original Noggin IP with the Noggin Art & Animation leads. Synthesize feedback and relay to game studios.
  • Work with our games producers to guide third-party development studios on all aspects of design from concept to finished gold master.
  • In reviewing all design assets, ensure that they are preschool appropriate and in support of the Noggin Learning Framework.
  • Provide development studios the appropriate brand style guide from internal resources and collaborate with the Noggin Art & Animation team to obtain additional style guides. In addition, work with internal resources to locate product assets (show reference, character models, props and backgrounds). to be used in game development.
  • Collaborate with appropriate teams (internal at Nickelodeon and external for 3rd party partnerships) for approvals on use of show art and assets
  • Contribute to regular game review meetings to ensure that game development is in keeping with the brand style of each property and Noggin interactive design goals.


Required Qualifications / Skills

  • 5+ years of gaming experience with mobile, console, pc, and/or web
  • 5+ years of experience working with branded game products
  • Knowledge of preschool user interface design
  • Understanding of creation of 3D models and animations
  • Understanding of narrative composition needed for a preschool audience
  • Proven ability to creatively provide oversight and direction on projects from concept finished product
  • Proficient design and wireframing skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience with popular design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch)
  • Portfolio of games that you have provided creative guidance or produced


Preferred Qualifications

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Passionate about developing engaging learning experiences that directly impact preschoolers and their families.
  • Passionate about Nickelodeon’s and Noggin preschool properties; familiar with Nickelodeon and Noggin’s preschool properties as well as competitive preschool properties.
