Role Details:

Integrated Marketing, Digital Strategy represents the voice of our business units within the digital ad sales organization. The team is charged with market positioning, demand generation, opportunity development, and the post-sale activation of custom media solutions.

The Manager of Digital Strategy, Programmatic, will play a critical role in supporting programmatic revenue growth, sales strategy, and marketing development across the company. This person will help to drive and manage the programmatic integrated marketing roadmap. This includes working closely with internal partners to develop, activate, and manage best-in-class programmatic advertising solutions and marketing communications. They will work very closely with Sales, acting as a subject matter expert on the programmatic sales portfolio. They will support Sales in translating client objectives into programmatic activation strategies, driving programmatic monetization efforts. This individual will work collaboratively across all business functions and brands, looking to continually improve our programmatic revenue and marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate is a master multi-tasker with the keen ability to coordinate and prioritize projects against deadlines. They thrive in a fast-paced and quickly evolving marketplace. Knowledge of emerging platforms, new technologies, industry trends and familiarity with programmatic advertising will aid this person.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the building of new and unique programmatic advertising solutions that work for the business overall. This includes project managing and vetting inventory, pricing, operations, design, packaging, and deliverables from start to finish.
  • Work cross-functionally with a wide array of internal partners. This includes sales, yield, research/BI and ad operations, connecting dots and facilitating buy-in for programmatic sales initiatives.
  • Give to in-bound RFP requests, priority client programs, and business-wide ad sales growth initiatives by bringing a highly valued subject matter expertise.
  • Assist in the creation of sales marketing collateral including presentations, sales kits, media plans, and other resources.
  • Act as a key point of contact for both sales and integrated marketing, answering questions, educating on ad opportunities, and facilitating sales enablement initiatives that drive efficiencies and growth.
  • Maintain a pulse on the programmatic advertising industry, understanding the needs, wants, and motivations of the programmatic buying community, and how to best define our offerings to the marketplace.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years' media or marketing experience at a media company, agency or brand with an emphasis on programmatic marketing solutions or partnerships.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Remarkable storytelling, writing, and communication skills, with an understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives.
  • Talent in distilling complex information into simple, memorable terms that sales and clients can grasp and act upon.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously, with proven experience of working efficiently and cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote) with an eye for aesthetics.
  • Objective and solutions oriented mentality with a focused approach to problem solving.
