Role Details: The Social Media Manager will be responsible for driving engagement and audience growth for MaxPreps’ social outlets.


Your Day-to-Day:

- Manage and develop daily posts for MaxPreps across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook

- Regularly report data to prove the effectiveness of work

- Build content plans/calendars for each platform

- Develop and execute video concepts for MaxPreps on YouTube

- Execute on sponsorship obligations in a timely and professional manner

- Interface with other CBS Sports Digital social teams to ensure MaxPreps content is amplified to a larger audience

- Occasionally be on-camera personality / VO in social series


Key Projects:

- Develop, implement and oversee the growth of all of our social media outlets

- Travel and cover events for MaxPreps social media while helping other CBS Sports properties


What you bring to the team:

You have –

- Outstanding knowledge in the high school sports world

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Strong knowledge of all social media outlets - emphasis on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok

- Outstanding communication and people abilities

- Ability to work weekends (especially Friday nights and Saturdays during HSFB season)

- Ability to meet deadlines - Willing to travel and represent as a MaxPreps personality

- Experience in photoshop

- Experience in Final Cut or Premiere (have the ability to edit video, especially for Reels, TikTok and Shorts)

- Skills also include online research, strong communication skills, a willingness to learn new skills, and social network communication.

- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

- Must successfully pass a background check.
