Overview and Responsibilities 


Showtime Networks Inc. (SNI) is seeking a Manager of Management Reporting based in our New York office! This position is responsible for the General and Administrative department’s annual budget, 12 monthly forecasts, long-range plans, and full financial support for over $100 million of operating expenses to ensure proper and timely recognition of all financial information. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the completeness and integrity of forecasts and budgets, tracking performance, handling monthly operating expenses, and conducting variance analyses to assist in driving informed decision making. The Manager will also assist in preparing consolidated Showtime / Premium Group forecasts and budgets, variance analysis, and corporate submissions. The individual in this position will report to the Vice President, Management Reporting & Analysis and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, bi-coastal team environment. The Manager position will collaborate closely on a day-to-day basis with Showtime Finance, Programming, Research, Sales, Marketing, & Corporate Communications, along with counterparts at other Paramount Global divisions including BET and Paramount Television Studios! 
•    Handle and ensure the accurate and timely completion of Showtime G&A budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Communicate all process requirements on a timely basis to business units.
•    Work closely with Showtime business unit management to prepare their budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range plans. Assist business units with properly calendarizing their budgets and monthly forecasts to ensure accurate P&L and cash flow expectations.
•    Develop and handle the financial close process as it relates to monthly and quarterly reporting activities by meeting with Showtime business units to understand their accruals and to identify and evaluate variance drivers.
•    Prepare and present the monthly close summaries for Showtime G&A business units to the Vice President, Management Reporting & Analysis. This includes reviewing and analyzing monthly performance relative to annual budgets as well as to monthly estimates.
•    Prepare and present consolidated Premium Group (Showtime, BET, & Paramount Television Studios) monthly and quarterly close, forecast, and budget summaries for Corporate.
•    Conduct rigorous analysis to evaluate expense trends among Premium business units (favorable & unfavorable) and alert management of their potential impact.
•    Ad Hoc projects and analyses as necessary to support Showtime, BET, and Paramount Television Studios partners.


Basic Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area (CPA preferred)
•    2+ years of experience in Finance function (media industry preferred)

•    Ability to build strong relationships to effectively work with Showtime & Paramount Global departments
•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage simultaneous projects and meet deadlines
•    Validated analytical strength and process mindset with ability to identify and resolve issues with limited oversight
•    Accurate eye for detail, balanced with the ability to see the big picture
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
•    Experience with SAP and / or Longview are a plus
•    Knowledge of financial principles and analyses
•    Understanding of media & entertainment industry economics, along with the performance drivers of OTT programmers and distributors
•    Strong “EQ” and the ability to present information in a compelling manner to a broad range of consumers
•    Demonstrated success working independently and cross-functionally with a strong service orientation toward internal clients and partners
