(SNI) owns and operates the premium television networks SHOWTIME®, THE MOVIE CHANNEL™ and FLIX®, and also offers SHOWTIME ON DEMAND®, THE MOVIE CHANNEL™ ON DEMAND and FLIX ON DEMAND®, and the network's authentication service SHOWTIME ANYTIME®. Showtime Digital Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SNI, operates the stand-alone streaming service SHOWTIME®. SHOWTIME is currently available to subscribers via cable, DBS, and telco providers, and as a stand-alone streaming service through Amazon, Apple®, Google, LG Smart TVs, Oculus Go, Roku®, Samsung Smart TVs and Xbox One.

 

Overview and Responsibilities:

Showtime Sports Digital producer will be the logistical lead at the heart of all streaming executions and shoots. We are looking for a natural problem solver who’s also eager to manage file deliveries, Showtime digital partner obligations as well as assist with video distribution across social media. Interest in sports, digital video streaming and an ability to manage the stresses of production are vital!

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Coordinate onsite technical needs with venues and partners for live streaming activations
  • Location scout for digital feature shoots + live streams
  • Build live stream run of shows for digital, PR, and partner use/planning
  • Manage Showtime Sports streaming video delivery workflows through Showtime streaming apps, VOD, NOC
  • Act as technical liaison between Showtime digital team and broadcast truck for integrated productions
  • Assist in real-time production management of fight week media events
  • Coordinate and maintain logs of video footage
  • Work with Showtime Sports’ digital media agency managing budget, equipment, travel logistics
  • Commitment to improve our video distribution tactics, platforms, strategies
  • Track and manage video partnership executions, obligations and public messaging

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or technical degree in television, film, broadcast or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of high level digital and social production experience, with major media brands and/or major personalities
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc) and experience in Microsoft Office, as well as Quip & Slack
  • Extensive field producing experience and knowledge of sports production workflows!
  • Travel required, willing to work nights, weekends, holidays

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Implement and prioritize projects with limited direction and work on tight deadlines
  • Work well with different levels of management, talent, managers, producers, and all other persons involved with productions
  • Mine and use data to develop content quickly against social trends
  • Video file management comprehension: how to render and convert files, organize deliveries
