Role details

 

We are seeking a versatile and self-motivated Senior Product Designer to help us craft the evolution of

Showtime’s direct-to-consumer standalone subscription streaming service. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a hardworking and dedicated cross-functional product team crafting compelling multi-platform experiences at scale that entertain millions of users.

 

About You

 

You are curious and collaborative by nature! You are willing to experiment, and you don’t fall in love with your first idea. You are guided by user insight, knowing that great design always begins with recognising the problem, and you always seek to uncover important insights to guide your design

thinking. You are a critical thinker who is passionate about the business outcomes of your work, but who is also skilled at crafting detailed pixel-level design deliverables that scale uniformly across any screen size.

You are adept at communicating and establishing relationships across functional teams to get things done.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, research, and other cross-functional partners to distill

complex user needs and business goals into intuitive and compelling user experiences

  • Design comprehensive solutions that scale seamlessly across multiple screens and platforms
  • Help to develop, maintain, and evolve the Showtime “Beacon” design system to ensure the highest standards of quality, and efficiency in our visual and functional design and development
  • Work closely with user experience research to produce prototypes for testing, capturing user input, validating design concepts, and ensuring that designs are meeting the highest usability standards
  • Working closely with front-end developers to deliver feedback, specifications, interactive prototypes, and optimized assets to ensure a high level quality and efficiency while shipping new features
  • Managing multiple ongoing projects and remaining flexible through rounds of iteration and feedback
  • Communicate and present your design rationale to your teammates and partners

Qualifications

 

  •  4+ years of product design experience
  • A strong portfolio showcasing cross-platform product designs with the ability to articulate your design thinking in the context of the user and business problems you were solving for
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams including product and engineering
  • Strong understanding of UX practices and usability standards
  • Experience with adaptable and adaptive multi-screen, cross-platform product design
  • Experience developing or working with design systems and pattern libraries, including working with developers throughout the design and development processes

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of proficiency with Figma and Sketch
  • Highly collaborative and willingness to incorporate feedback from various partners and generate multiple concepts and iterations of your design solutions
  • Experience working with streaming and subscription products and designing for TV platforms is a plus
