Research Manager (New York) Upcoming CG Animation Series

Conduct research sessions with preschoolers, remote or in person, focusing on series content and development.


  • Support Co-Executive Producer in the coordination and execution of all primary research objectives, including the development, organization, and maintenance of all research materials.
  • Work with Producers to assist in the creation of research videos for testing purposes, which may include recording voiceover.
  • Manage small Research team, including Coordinator and/or Assistant to ensure all research objectives are met.
  • Attend all research-related meetings and sessions.
  • Manage spreadsheets and databases for research collection and organization.
  • Analyze data and feedback from sessions and write toplines and reports.
  • Supervise additional Research projects as requested by Producers.

Basic qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong time management skills; great multi-tasker.
  • Tech-savvy and ingenious problem-solver.

Desired qualifications:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • MA/MS preferred.
  • Background in Psychology, Education, Human Development, Media & Communications
  • Proven history of interest in children’s media
  • Outgoing and great with children; strong story reader
  • Some singing/performing ability a plus
