Overview:

Integrated Marketing, Digital Strategy represents the voice of our business units within the digital ad sales organization. Our team is charged with market positioning, demand generation, opportunity development, and the post-sale activation of custom media solutions.

We’re seeking a strategic, hardworking Senior Manager to play an integral role in driving the Pluto TV business forward. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment and possess a keen understanding of the streaming video marketplace. They will be creative, curious and a great teammate. A thoughtful approach to problem solving and strong communication skills will be key to succeeding in this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of sales marketing collateral, positioning business unit assets (i.e. channels, tent poles, etc.), in a positive light and improving ViacomCBS competitive distinctness.
  • Work cross-functionally with a wide array of internal partners including sales, editorial, production, legal, design, yield, and ad operations, connecting dots and facilitating buy-in to support media sales and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Direct junior team to brainstorm, ideate, and complete custom content and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Represent business unit as an internal expert and key point of contact for both sales and marketing.
  • Lead all aspects of the development of media plans and custom brand programs, driving process excellence, flawless execution, and client happiness.
  • Evaluate sales trends to gauge demand and make recommendations on pricing and packaging strategies that improve revenue growth.
  • Proactively seek opportunities and innovations that help our team meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Contribute to in-bound RFP requests, priority client programs, and business-wide ad sales growth initiatives.
  • Maintain a pulse on the media industry, understanding the needs, wants, and motivations of the buying community, and how to best define our offerings against competition.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years media or marketing experience at a media company, agency or brand with an emphasis on custom marketing solutions or partnerships.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Fantastic storytelling, writing, and communication skills, with an understanding of how to craft narratives.
  • Strong grasp on culture, with a keen ability to spot upcoming trends.
  • Talent in distilling complex information into simple, memorable terms.
  • Ability to manage various project elements, with proven experience of working efficiently and cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote).
  • A bias for action, including comfort crafting organization and processes.
  • Experience empowering employees, granting them the authority to voice their opinions and take ownership of their assignments.
