Frontend Developer

Pyrmont, NSW, AU, 2009

If you love to be entertained, there’s a good chance we’ve already met.

However, we figure that as you’ve clicked the “About Us” button, you might be looking to get to know us a little better.

So, who are we?

We’re ViacomCBS Australia & New Zealand (Hello!), a division of ViacomCBS International Networks – which in turn is a division of ViacomCBS.

Our vision is simple.

We deliver content that is premium and differentiated to the young and young at heart in the way they want it via an enhanced viewing ecosystem.

What does that even mean?

Put simply, we’ve got all the shows you love (and love to hate) right here. We create content that gets people talking.

What’s more, you’ll find all those great shows (and more) on our free-to-air channels (10, 10 Peach and 10 Bold), subscription channels (MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Comedy Central), our digital platform 10 Play and subscription video on demand service, 10 All Access.

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve got.

Entertainment. News. Great content. With assets across TV and digital platforms, 10 is the network to switch over to.
10 needs a Strong frontend Developer to join the current well-oiled machine within our digital development team.
As part of the digital development team, you will be surrounded by a team of like-minded developers and testers with support from the product and design team to create solutions to business goals.

The techy stuff you’ll be awesome at:

  • 2+ years experience working with JavaScript at a commercial level
  • Some experience in React and working with component based development
  • Some understanding of digital video delivery and playback
  • Working in an Agile development environment, preferably Scrum and/or Kanban
  • Experience working closely with Product, UX and Design

It’s not me, it’s you! What we’re looking for;

  • A great understanding of Javascript
  • A good understanding of browser debugging
  • Good communication skills, good organisational skills and the ability to work independently during high load periods.
  • CSS Experience in grid/adaptive/responsive/semantic HTML/SCSS.
  • Experience with translating designs from Adobe Photoshop/Aftereffects/XD
  • A great attitude and desire to learn
  • Passionate about technology

Network 10 offers full flexibility with this position. Candidates do not need to be located in Sydney but need full Australian work rights. This position can be worked remotely in a full time capacity.

As viewers increasingly go online to extend their viewing experience and advertisers seek fully integrated, cross-platform opportunities, the value of Ten's online environment created for our audience and advertisers continues to grow, delivering exceptional results.
