Sydney based role/expected 2-3 days in the office/WFH other days.

What you’ll do as a Research & Insights Analyst: 

 

You’ll be part of the team supporting the 10 ViacomCBS sales and content teams with insights, analysis and strategic recommendations to best support the sales and monetisation of our broadcast and digital assets. Put more simply, you'll provide the sales teams compelling statistics/narratives to enable our customers make better informed decisions.

 

Functions will also include: 

 

  • Analysis of 10 ViacomCBS content across broadcast and digital
  • Regular daily and weekly reporting of Network 10’s audiences across broadcast and digital platforms
  • Ad hoc reports and insights for Content, Digital, Finance, Corporate Communications and Marketing
  • Daily creation of TV ratings logs

 

What are we looking for in a Research & Insights Analyst? What’s essential?  

 

  • A keen interest in television and online media
  • Data analysis skills/mindset, an ability to distil complex data points into actionable insights
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal & written capabilities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail

 

Extra points for the following, but not necessarily required:  

 

  • Gained 1-2 years experience working within online media research & insights (or advertising sales)
  • Experience with television ratings software such as Arianna, L&J eTAM or TechEdge
