JOB OVERVIEW DETAILS

 

The Assistant to the National Sales Director and Sydney Sales Director supports these Executive leaders in their day-to-day activities and will have a high level of interaction with stakeholders both across Sales and the wider business. It is critical that you have and appetite to learn and grow in an amazing business.  This role will suit an experienced person who is looking for somewhere to build a long-term career within a dynamic global media business. 

 

More specifically you’ll be doing things like this:

 

•    Diary management and organising meetings/travel etc
•    Managing and reconciling Expenses, Invoicing, and liaising with accounts team
•    Team admin including meetings, training, assisting new team members, tech setup, RSVP follow-ups, event organization
•    Collating data for meetings, sales meeting agendas, minute taking
•    Ongoing interaction with both local and interstate sales teams
•    Preparation of presentations (PowerPoint) often to short deadlines
•    Event organization, client hospitality, hosting
•    Liaising with other departments including IT, Publicity, Corporate Communications, Finance

•    Excellent communication skills, not afraid of building relationships across the team and wider business
•    Demonstrated understanding of office etiquette
•    Proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite including strong PowerPoint and Excel
•    Willingness to listen, learn, and take direction easily
•    Helpful and positive in attacking any task or challenge

 

Extra points for background in the following (not essential): 

•    Media or advertising industry experience
