Enough about us, what you’ll do as a Senior Producer:


As a Senior Producer you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Management Team in facilitating effective decision making around content and scheduling for Studio 10.


Functions will also include:


  • Working with the production team on show pitches, segment production and keeping track of forward planning events and features
  • Overseeing and working with the production team on scripting, editing, feature assignment, training junior staff members
  • Providing creative input on show content
  • Structuring projects and planning efficient processes for team members
  • Seeking out story ideas and potential guests, maintaining strong relationships with public relations, talent managers and production companies
  • Determining technical requirements for shoots and in-studio performances


What are we looking for in a Senior Producer? What’s important?


  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Producer in a live TV environment
  • Experience with ENPS or other news softwares
  • Possess editing and scripting capabilities
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure to meet deadline
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • A go-getter who possesses resilience to handle a fast-paced working environment
  • Proven ability to be adaptable and creative


Extra points for the following, but not necessarily required:


  • Experience in a control room or working in a similar format to Studio 10 is highly desirable
  • Proven management skills
