CBS Television Stations consists of 28 CBS-owned stations in 17 major U.S. markets, as well as the stations’ digital properties. The portfolio of stations includes 15 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates.

The station group’s properties also include CBSN Local, a joint initiative with CBS Interactive that features direct-to-consumer streaming news services in the markets where the Company has local news organizations. CBS Television Stations’ premium local content is also distributed to consumers by the group’s websites and mobile applications.

 

The Programming and Contracts Coordinator is responsible for keeping track of programming contracts for the CBS Owned Television Stations (CTS) group, including contract input in specialized programming software. The Coordinator will also assist in building CTS group presentations. This position is based in our Riverside New Jersey Operations Center. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-  Maintain Programming contracts including input into programming software and uploading to shared online site

-  Assist with Program Names standards and House Numbers across all programming

-  Assist with Station Group reports and presentations in Excel and PowerPoint

-  Assist Program Directors with program scheduling tasks


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

-  1+ Years of Television programming experience

-  Excellent knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

-  Experience with programming software such as SIMS a plus

-  Working knowledge of WideOrbit Traffic System a plus

-  Strong organization and communication skills

-  Team Player who is experienced working with all levels in the organization

-  Ability to work against deadlines in a fast paced environment
