KPIX / KBCW / CBSN is looking for a dynamic hardworking Local Sales Manager with a proven history of developing a strong sales team and growing revenue. This leadership position is responsible for leading local and out of market sales for our broadcast and digital platforms. 


As our Local Sales Manager you pride yourself as an innovative thinker who formulates short- and long-term strategies, leads by example, and will mentor and motivate your team. Your intuitive ability to work in a combined environment with a senior team of managers toward a common goal, collaborating and co-managing along-side with the VP of Sales to maximize sales revenue across the CBS Local Media platforms in the Bay Area and in its other Local Media markets. This position does qualify for hybrid remote however you MUST be based in the San Francisco bay area. Come join our growing team with the nation’s top media sales organization. 



  • Develop a team of Account Executives, keeping the team accountable to selling our superior media assets
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Budgeting and forecasting to achieve revenue goals
  • Recruit to attract and retain dedicated Account Executives
  • Provide in depth knowledge of TV & Digital Media products and services to clients
  • Research and audience analytics
  • Lead sales team in creating activations for CBS Tentpoles to include NFL, PGA, March Madness, and The Grammy's
  • Attend client meetings with the sales team


Preferred Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Communication or Marketing is preferred
  • Active business relationships with Media Agencies and Marketers on the West Coast
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Media sales management experience in a Top 10 market and national sales experience in TV and Digital Media preferred
  • Excellent management, leadership, sales, and interpersonal skills
