As Digital-Digital Content Producer for The Project, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the show’s digital platforms, using a consistently balanced and educated tone, ensuring the consistency of digital output in the writers’ room, monitoring digital user behavior and liaising with both internal and external parties on digital matters. As a public representative of the show’s values and ethical views, you are expected to have an objective voice. It is imperative that you understand the show’s standards so that you are able to distinguish any communication that is unusual, threatening or legally precarious. As a creative member of the team, you work closely with fellow writers, the producers, editors and talent to create engaging content and strategies to promote the show via our digital platforms.


More specifically you'll be doing things like this:


  • Post/publicise show content on digital platforms (eg. Facebook/ Twitter/ Instagram/TikTok/10Play)
  • Create and generate companion content for the show 
  • Editorially select show content for digital distribution prior to transmission
  • Work with Head of Digital to create and implement broader digital strategy 
  • Post requested callouts from audience coordinator and producers 
  • Generate new, engaging formats to further the Project’s social reach
  • Create guides to assist writers approaching digital content management and creation 
  • Communicate with legal department to keep our content within legal boundaries 
  • Maintain good relationships with external digital stakeholders 
  • Liaise with producers each day and handpick digital appropriate content 
  • Act in editorial capacity for each 10Play story, working with writers to ensure consistency of voice and look 
  • Respond to requests for photos from TEN, wardrobe department, guest producers and other stakeholders 
  • Work with Head of Digital Content for approved daily rollout of pre-show & weekend content.
  • Liaise with show writers for daily editorials 
  • Create cut-down content of the main Project show.
  • Partake in daily writers meeting
  • Maintain presence and moderate digital platforms throughout the day and weekend.
  • Ensure consistent voice across all digital platforms - friendly, funny, serious when necessary, informative 
  • Work to troubleshoot any relevant technical difficulties alongside digital platform providers and their team 
  • Help train new team members to the highest of standards to ensure the Project socials maintain high standards.

  • 5+ years’ experience performing the duties as detailed above
  • Digital producing background

  • Proven stakeholder management/excellent communication style
  • Technically competent

Extra points for the following, but not necessarily essential: 


  • Background in the media landscape 
  • knowledge of Adobe suite and WordPress.
