Overview and Responsibilities:

Are you a flourishing Senior Content Sales Executive with a passion for developing creative approaches to generating growth and revenue? Join our Team! Based in LA (hybrid availability), the Vice President of Sales will work in collaboration with both the Paramount Pictures Films & CMV Content Sales team. The position reports directly into to the EVP, Domestic Licensing & Distribution, and focuses primarily on selling film and TV series' to multi-platforms.


CBS Media Ventures is the preeminent company in television syndication. CMV produces or distributes 11 first-run series, including the long-running, critically acclaimed hits “Judge Judy,” “Dr. Phil,” “Entertainment Tonight,” “Wheel of Fortune,” “Jeopardy!,” “Inside Edition” and “Rachael Ray,” as well as the new daytime series “The Drew Barrymore Show.” The division also handles national barter advertising sales for Debmar-Mercury's and Fox's first-run syndicated programming, and operates Dabl, a multiplatform, advertiser-supported lifestyle network ( CMV is part of CBS Entertainment Group and a division of Paramount Global.


As a valued contributor of the Sales team, the ideal hire will be tasked with increasing revenue for both Paramount Pictures & CBS Media Ventures. To accomplish this goal, we as a team set our vision on selling content across various broadcast, cable, and digital (FVOD) platforms in the US region!



  • Inter-Professional Communication & Collaboration: Secure US partnership deals for AwesomenessTV’s premium television series, films, and short form content across all business models.
  • Negotiation & Planning: Draft proposals, plan pitches, identify and analyze revenue opportunities, closing deals, and calibrating a network of film libraries to provide opportunity and exclusivity.
  • Financial & Analytical Directive: development and implementation of a cross-functional strategy to drive growth and monitor/collect insights regularly.
  • Provide mentorship, support, and back up on Studio Allocations.
  • Build sales growth opportunities through targeted license offerings and value optimized terms.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of lead sales experience appropriately prioritizing and navigating multiple prospective deals.
  • Fortuitous background in spearheading complex content distribution deals for Film & TV, or an equally profound experience in media buying from the acquisition side.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Uncanny problem-solving skills to client’s business challenges, and intentionally turn them into creatively tailored client solutions
  • Exemplary knowledge of industry windowing cycles across media landscapes.
  • Established strong network of media, technology and international contacts; in tandem with the ability to source and establish new relationships.
  • Key knowledge of digital rights and the interplay between evolving business models across television media.
