Director, Digital Production Finance Systems & Compliance

We are looking for Director who will be responsible for leading a team in CBS Studios who oversees the software and digital processes used by our freelance accounting groups, and include a focus on protection of sensitive data across more than 20+ digital systems. This individual will implement and lead the digital production process, and coordinate with vendors and partners for the production and production accounting processes. In addition, the role will manage daily issues, troubleshooting and liaise with Infosec to ensure full compliance across all production technology platforms. This position is based in Studio City, CA.

Reports to SVP, Production Finance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage team supporting Production Finance and Freelance Show Accountants in implementation, use, and troubleshooting of digital products such as EP’s Smart Suite, Digital PO’s, Digital AP process, Movie Magic, Long term production scanning storage solution, SalesForce, Scenechronize, SmartHub Vault, Digital Extras Casting solution and other Digital production process. Prepare initial series production budgets and cash flows for projects in development and pre-production
  • Manage user credentials across all platforms while following policies and procedures associated with audit and compliance requirements
  • Identify and support new systems including the adoption that would lead to efficiencies and further cost savings
  • Coordinate with corporate Finance, Global Sourcing and IT to accurately align with ViacomCBS adopted processes

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience required
  • 7+ years working at production finance industry related field
  • 5+ years of related business experience

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge and practical experience of processes and procedures followed by Location Accountants globally.
  • Extensive experience with vendor software packages including budgeting, scheduling and location accounting.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, teamwork, critical thinking and computer skills
  • Long standing relationships established with various industry service providers in LA, NY, and internationally
  • Working-to-advanced knowledge of Long Term Document Storage tools such as EP Smart Hub Vault, and associated indexing & metadata standards.
  • Strong knowledge of industry digital future platforms
  • Working knowledge of Adobe and advanced knowledge of DocuSign
  • Coordination skills within corporate environment and execution to the location accounting teams
