Senior Financial Analyst - TV Participations

ViacomCBS seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Television Participation Department! The department handles contractual reporting to co-production partners and third-party participants on shows produced and distributed by CBS, Paramount, and Showtime. The Television Participation Department provides an excellent opportunity to learn the television industry from initial production to global distribution of the television products.




  • Prepare and review contractual accounting statements to talent and producers.
  • Coordinate the talent agreements and prepare agreement abstracts for first time participation statements.
  • Identify problems during the preparation process and develop creative solution to resolve issues.
  • Utilize various systems and ledgers across the company.
  • Research and draw relationships between various complex deals.
  • Communicate effectively with various business units and management to acquire required information.
  • Review, analyze and give feedback of work submitted by peers
  • Support management by completing various ad hoc projects




  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance highly preferred.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience related to participations or television distributions.
  • Strong analytical skills are required to analyze financial data.
  • Proficient in general accounting principles. Must understand and know how to read ledgers.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (i.e.: build formulas, pivot tables and v-lookups).
  • Be able to coordinate and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter and work independently with minimal supervision.
