The Marketing & Franchise Coordinator supports the Paramount Canada Consumer Products division in executing marketing, sales, event and promotional initiatives that drive retail, e-commerce and broadcast partner impact. This position will work closely with the Asst. Marketing & Franchise Manager to execute monthly broadcast, agency and retail partner marketing programs to optimize our diverse franchise portfolio (including iconic IP such as PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), awareness and return on investment. This position is responsible for the coordination, tactical execution, tracking, stakeholder communications and day-to-day administration of the consumer products marketing and franchise business areas in Canada. This position also provides key sales support in developing custom materials for partner conversations.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing:

  • Ensure key corporate values of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is reflective in all that we do
  • Assist and partner with team on the development of customized, cross-category retail programs that drive business growth
  • Support the flawless execution of OMNI channel and marketing tactics for key retail programs
  • Manage assets for on-air and digital advertising and retail marketing programs (creative, copy), including routing approvals through key stakeholders and managing timely deliveries
  • Coordinate budget administration including POs, invoicing, and billing for marketing expenses including vendor interaction for proper set up and documentation
  • Support the creation of sales presentations and documents to present to licensees, retailers, and business partners  
  • Contribute to ongoing competitive landscape overviews including store checks and weekly flyer assessments
  • Gather materials for all completed marketing programs for post-mortems and to track key deliverables
  • Plan and execute monthly licensee newsletters to inform our partner base of key business and franchise highlights
  • Maintain a thorough, organized and accessible library of all campaign creative for individual retail programs and key sales materials communications
  • Coordinate event planning, invite deployments/tracking and day-of vendor management for all Canada CP events including Partner Summit, retail tradeshows, and marketing events
  • Work closely with internal Creative to review all marketing materials for accuracy, regulatory compliance and effectiveness ensuring approval through internal & external partners (incl. third parties) is completed

Franchise Management:

  • Keep up to date on all property sales materials and update with relevant Canadian insights
  • Coordinate business updates from the team for franchise territory reviews
  • Gather bi-weekly wins for Canada for executive overviews by property
  • Provide and maintain courteous, professional and efficient service to internal/external partners by responding to requests for franchise information    

REQUIREMENTS – SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 

  • Degree in marketing, communications and/or business is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Be a team player who is collaborative, inclusive, optimistic, and adaptable 
  • Absolute comfort with key Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to manage complexity and work effectively in a deadline driven environment
  • Exercises tenacity and persistence
  • Ability to work closely with multiple internal and external teams
